Children’s Services has vast room for improvement. Accordingly, St Vincent’s is liaising with the NHS and Local Authorities in Scotland in line with the Government’s GIRFEC initiative (see below). We firmly believe that collaborative working through the sharing of data reduces risk to our young and vulnerable.
St Vincent’s Healthcare Consulting has an experienced pool of associates who are experts in providing consulting services to the NHS and private healthcare organisations. This resource stretches back to even before the Nation Programme for IT (NPfIT).
Specifically, in this initiative, our business analysts, strategists and advisory consultants are involved in executing a "first of kind" multi-agency data share project across the NHS, Local Authorities, Blue Light Services and Social Care within Scotland. This has involved consulting with key stakeholders across the various public sector organisations in order to bring to life an all-inclusive solution that will ensure better outcomes and a safer environment for children.
“We all have a role to play in making this happen – as families, as communities, as a society. We want to ensure that services are designed and available to children and families to give them the support they need in the right way, at the right time.”
Aileen Campbell, Minister for Children and Young People
